Daily Pump Trap: 8/1/13 edition

Good morning! Between July 30 and July 31, there have been 45 new positions posted on the C&EN Jobs website. Of these, 2 (4%) are academically connected and 29 (64%) are from Kelly Scientific Resources.

Boston, MA: Aramco Services Company (part of Saudi Aramco) is looking for 2 Ph.D. chemists to work on oil services-related research I suspect; one looks to be a fresh Ph.D. position (synthetic organic, even!) and the other wants 1 year's experience.

Westbrook, ME: Sappi Fine Chemical is looking for another Ph.D. chemist for a R&D postdoc position (polymer synthesis, looks like); I'd love to know what these folks are up to, and where past postdocs have gone.

Hanover, PA: AquaScientific desires a B.S. chemist to be a production chemist; 5+ years laboratory experience desired.

Warrington, PA: Polysciences, Inc. is back for more chemists; same general theme, i.e. M.S./Ph.D., polymer/synthetic experience desired. Here's a new comment:

5+ years of industrial experience in synthetic methods and scale-up of polymers by free radical processes are required.

But you forgot to bold it! One or two stray CVs from total synthetic chemists is bound to get through.
